What we do
We are a social enterprise and an alternative media platform on a mission to simplify and explain news about Indian governance through visual stories and infographics about government schemes, legislations and policies. Our goal is to emphasize the governance and policymaking aspects, the aspects that have a direct bearing on the day-to-day life of people in Indian Society.
Our aim is to debunk myth and misinformation about government activities by simplifying public policy, government initiatives, schemes, India’s diplomatic relations with neighbouring countries, India’s defence and internal security in a trustworthy & comprehensive manner.
Why are we doing this?
Indian politics is marred with endless controversies and over-the-top drama that can at times put soap operas to shame. With the mainstream media actively partaking in these feuds by picking sides, there’s a dearth of scientific analysis of incumbent policies and schemes.
We are on a mission to create awareness about these schemes and policies and advancements so that YOU can understand them, identify the beneficiaries and help them make use of these schemes/policies.
Why do public perceptions matter?
It’s nearly impossible for a layman to judge the government of the day properly without understanding its policymaking. Government is more than just the MPs, Ministers and the ideological standpoint of the ruling party.
Many civil servants, gazetted officers, corporations, professionals and ordinary CIVILIANS work tirelessly to bring about a change in the world order. It’d be a travesty of justice if the right programs and policies don’t reach the intended beneficiaries because of a lack of civic participation.
A civilian will be in a better place to form an unbiased judgement about the government once he/she understands what the government is doing/trying to do.
