If you're a local community activist trying to uplift the civic conditions of your locality, you can join our leadership program to create more awareness about the issues you're attempting to highlight, we provide you with extensive media backing to do the same.
What an Assembly/Ward Leader working with TCV does:
● Engages with the people with a grassroots approach and figures out the problems they're facing in the localities from his/her Assembly Constituency or ward
● After collecting data from the wards of the AC/ward, he/she works with the production department of The Civilian Volumes to create a documentary about these issues.
● He/she then presents these documentaries to the local authorities and gets them to answer on record.
● A final documentary highlighting the issues and the answers from the local authorities is then screened publicly at the ward that the documentary is about, the AC/ward leader is responsible for mobilizing crowds at these screenings and a healthy public consensus is thus accumulated.
For activists, TCV simply acts as a powerful tool to engage with the people and further strengthen civic engagement in his/her AC(s)/ward(s).
